You won’t want to miss the many new, special features of the 2009 Colorado Scottish Festival.
• On Saturday, August 8, instead of leaving at 5 pm, stay into the cool of the evening, have a relaxing supper and some liquid refreshments, and enjoy a first-class concert on the field (included in the price of your Saturday ticket)!
• At 6 pm, be in the Entertainment/Pub Tent as the audience judges the Festival’s first-ever Hot Piping Contest!
• That will be followed by a concert featuring Oceans Apart, a superb Scottish musical group (www.oceansapartmusic.com), and world-famous Irish fiddler Seamus Connolly! (www.seamusconnolly.com).
• Finish the evening with a change of pace – get ready to rock to the music of the U2 Tribute Band (www.uabrs.com).
• If you can’t make it on Saturday, come out on Sunday and enjoy the games. Oceans Apart and Seamus Connelly will be playing both days.
